Mission Statement: To help people into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and help them to grow in that relationship.
St Peter’s Parish Church covers the communities of Forsbrook and Blythe Bridge just south of Stoke on Trent. We are part of a united benefice with the ancient parish church of St Margaret’s Draycott in the Moors.
Our Mission Statement is to help people into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and help them to grow in that relationship.
In order to fulfil this aim we are a very active church and offer styles of worship to cover most people’s needs. From very informal Praise and Worship (1st and 3rd Sundays at 10-00am) and the monthly B48 on the Second Sunday at 7-30pm, to Choral Evensong and Choral Holy Communion at 5-00pm / 6-00pm (Winter / Summer) and on the second and fourth Sundays at 10-00 am. In addition we have a fortnightly 8-00am Book of Common Prayer Communion service (alternating with St Margaret’s) on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.
Worship is led by a very active Ministry Team.
We host weekly Bible Study groups, a Tiddler’s Group (Mums and Toddler’s) and a Friendship Group for senior members. We hold a yearly Alpha Course and weekly youth activities, many of which are shared with the local Methodist Church.
You will find St Peter’s to be a warm and friendly family church committed to growth and outreach. Both the choir and informal music group always welcomes new members.
Please explore this developing web site and come and pay us a visit, you are guaranteed a warm welcome.
